Tucson, Arizona
January 2012
I drove out to Tucson to begin shooting for my thesis project. Jacob, after a full strobe set up and getting through a few rolls of film, came out of his hangover enough to realize I was taking pictures of him. He spent the rest of the day on the couch until the party started again.

Stinson Beach, California
January 2012
When Paul told me that he and a few friends were planning to go on a hike I, with the bmxer mindset that I have, expected to drive to the top of a hill and walk around for a little bit. 7 miles later, I was sore, tired and wishing that Vans shoes had a whole lot more support.

San Francisco

So one of my new year's resolutions was to spend as few weekends at home as possible. First weekend the destination was my buddy Paul Bray's converted warehouse/bike shop/apartment in San Francisco.
"you've got to treat the cars like wild animals, they're more afraid of you then you are of them. ....except for buses, they'll f--king kill you."
I was simply along for the adventure and I had an awesome time. Most of the time was spent weaving through SF traffic on our bikes but the photo I've posted is from a hike we went on. ...definitely wasn't ready for that, but it provided some great shots.

I was hanging out with my friend Riley when we met up with a few of his car loving buddies. One of them, John, decided that he was going to jump his “vietnam green” miata across an intersection. he jumped before i was ready and i missed that shot, but i got this one while we were sitting around in the parking lot after.
Juking at Woodward
The last staff session of the year was nothing less than awesome. Tazz Hernandez decided to get some filming done and put together this little gem. http://vimeo.com/34477227 While you’re at it you can check out Tazz’s tumblr too. Have fun and get Juking.
Woodward West Winter Camp
Rose Parade
Back in January was the Rose Parade and for the first time I was in on the action. I shot some photos of the LMU float celebrating the centennial year. It was a good morning of shooting with Brian O’Hara. Unfortunately, I had to road trip back up to northern California afterward and I left the pictures with him. You can find some of the shots here though.
